Arrest made in last fall's vehicle thefts in the area
Posted Jan 26, 2012 By Cathy LindseyEMC News - Grenville County OPP Crime Unit - Property Crimes entered into a joint investigation with the Rural and Agricultural Crime Team (RACT) after several entries into parked vehicles at the North Grenville Municipal Centre and the Spencerville Arena led to a suspect being identified.
The accused male, Paul Brisebois was arrested on Jan. 16 and returned to Grenville County OPP.
The 46-year old male from Gatineau, Quebec has been charged with the following offences:
Sept. 18, 2011 incidents at North Grenville Municipal Centre
- Mischief under $5,000 - three counts
- Theft under $5,000 - three counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime - two counts
- Possession of a stolen credit card
Oct. 5, 2011 incidents at Spencerville Arena
- Mischief under $ 5,000 - two counts
- Theft under $ 5,000 - two counts
- Possession of stolen property
- Possession of a stolen credit card
The accused remains in custody.
