BR+E program still recruiting volunteers for business visits
Posted Mar 4, 2010 By EMC NewsEMC Business - With an impressive show of community support of the North Grenville Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) program through applications received, the BR+E leadership team has now selected the volunteer task force of business and community leaders to lead the charge as we move into organizing and scheduling our business visits.
The group is 30-strong and will be highly involved in the process, including doing business visits along with volunteer visitors.
What a great start and a testament of how strongly our community believes in and supports the idea of working together to identify and address opportunities and barriers for our local business community through the BR+E program.
We are still recruiting volunteers for business visits so there is still time to get involved as a volunteer. Go to www.northgrenville.ca/brevolunteers.cfm for more information and application forms. Let's work together to support local business!
If you are a local business, you may be lucky enough to receive an email or phone call advising that you've been randomly chosen to participate in a business interview. Please consider participating if you do get chosen.
Please feel free to contact BR+E coordinator Teri Devine at 613-258-9569 ext. 115, tdevine@northgrenville.on.ca, or visit our website at www.northgrenville.ca/BRandE.cfm for more information.
